instead libusb_xxx, and some

No, it's using 0.1.12. That's what's being discussed right now. If you
need it now, you can either remove 1.0 and install the compat layer (and
then certain functions might break), or you can install libusb 0.1. Or you
can wait. It sounds like 1.0 support is not very far off.
