How does one change the chipselects using libftdi?

I'm using code i found here http://code.google.com/p/libftdispi/ to get started
but I'm not entirely sure what the gpo is and whether or not its the
chipselect. I think understand the difference between the interface/channel and
the chipselect/gpo but I'm not entirely sure. The chip selects are the
dbus3/4/5/6 if we were looking at the d2xx drivers?

I'm not even entirely sure something is working yet. Our sanity check is on a
another chipselect,

I haven't looked through all the examples yet, are there any examples that use
the chipselect?

sorry if this english is bad, i'm sick and feeling horrible.
