Hi,
the upcoming flashrom 0.9.1 release will have support for FT2232H and
FT4232H based SPI flash programmers by depending on libftdi.
The code is already part of our current svn version and some people are
using it heavily to reflash BIOSes on broken mainboards. Please note
that the code is not completely ready for production yet, we are chasing
a few oddnesses which may be related to hardware quirks, but we hope to
have "perfect" code soon.
