Subject: How do I do a simple bitbang for an LED?

I have an FT2232D chip. It has an LED hooked up to BDBUS6.

I'm also trying to do SPI on interface A, so if I could do this in a way that
will make it easy to switch back and forth between modes, that'd be nice.
Though, for now I'd be tickled just to be able to blink the thing off and on a
few times. I've had *some* success with SPI, but can't quite get to where I
need to be, and I just want to do something pointless for the hell of it.
(That, and if I can get started on bitbang mode, I'll maybe be able to read the
two interrupt lines attached to BDBUS0 and 1).
