I have a patch to submit to add additional functionality. We have the need to use the detach/reattach feature that was previously added, but I did not see a way to actually configure the feature to use. This patch adds a setter to
do this.
I wasn’t sure what the official process was so I made a fork of the git repo on GitHub and then applied my patch.

The proposed patch is at the tips of master, b3adca4.
