How hard would it be for me to add support for FT240X?

I am interested in using the FT240X for a random number generator USB stick:

For this project, it does not make any sense to have a closed-source driver, and you guys already support several USB devices from this company.  I am an experienced C coder and have written drivers before.  I was just wondering if you guys could give me a feel for how large a task I'm signing up for.  Would it be much work for a decent coder?
