libftdi spi clock delay

Hi,

I am using libftdi to read blocks of data(each block is 6664bytes) from MCU.  My MCU is not fast enough to catch the continuous clock.  It requires 2 clock bit idle time between each clock bytes.  Is there a way to do it?
