Well, I would prefer smaller patches so it's easier to review.
Have you worked with git before?
As I didn't have time to finish it during the Christmas holidays, I really
want to do it this week and merge the "eeprom-new" branch back
to the main tree.
So I guess it's a good idea to just start your work next week,
if you find the time for it.
