Sounds good for me. There is only one thing you should consider: As long
as libusb breaks the claim on a device (and I doubt, that this can be
avoided), Linux users don't have exclusive access to the device by
default. This might be worth mentioning in the documentation, at least.
I think, important is that the user can avoid the automatic
detaching/re-attaching.
