libftdi and multiple interfaces

Hi All,

I'm not sure what is the proper/recommended way to use two or more
FTDI interfaces with the same chip, from the same process.

Is there some documentation about using multiple interfaces/ports at once?

I'm not sure how many times to call ftdi_usb_open() for example.

Any help/pointers would be appreciated.
