What's the correct way to set the timeout, what are the units, and what would be a reasonable value?

I looked through the API docs, and see the ftdi_context::usb_write_timeout info, but nothing that answers the above questions.

Of course, I'm also known to miss the large pink elephant in the middle of a room, so... it could be me.

Hi guys,

Try increasing the ftdi timeout value, and see if that helps - if so
perhaps we are on the way to tracking down the problem.
