Glad you have it solved.

I created a makefile for openwrt to create the ipkg, using normal openwrt
technique for packages.

Hi Tarek!

Thank you for you help, yes it can help for me.

Anyway, i found the solution, to compile programs (what using libftdi)
with SDK what i would like to share with you.
I uploaded the full working SDK if anybody will need for that. It
contains an example.

Zsuzi,

I can help you.

I have it running on openwrt kamikaze 8.09

I self created my own ipkg. My hardware is mipsel on ADM5120 router
board. (http://www.omnima.co.uk)

I haven't compiled for a while so it is an older version.

I originally also created my own libusb package, but that is now readily
available.

Attached is libftdi_0.15-1_mipsel.ipkg

Hope this helps

Regards

Tarek

I have a question.
Is it possible to to install libftdi to my router (WL500gp)? Openwrt
runs on my router. If on Openwrt it isn't possible, what distribution
is
it possible to install?
I would like to develop a software to my router what is can handle the
device with ftdi device. (The ftdi chip is working with D2XX driver on
windows)

It should be possible as someone already started to work on it:

Maybe you can resurrect the effort.

Phil Endecott installed it on a Debian based Linksys NSLU2 (Slug):

Sorry for my english.

It's fine :-)
